I was born in Mississauga, Ontario and grew up in Burlington, Ontario. My childhood was pretty normal except that I was a larger kid. At my heaviest I was 260lbs and had a 44 inch waist. I am 6'1, so it was distributed well, but make no mistake about it, I was not healthy and I got picked on a lot in highschool. I was pretty involved in everything as a child. I volunteered at church for our youth group, with the city running events and at school, doing year book.
I came out in my last year of highschool and went off to the University of Waterloo where I started to become a lot more healthier and got myself a computer science degree and a bachelor of Math. (Not Just pretty...lol) I did co-op and moved around alot as a result, but taking care of myself became priority. I decided to change my life and started to exercise and watched what i ate and got my weight down to 180 and had a 32 inch waist.
After I graduated from Waterloo, I decided to pack up my life and head to Vancouver, where I got a job with Flight Centre. Flight Centre was something I stubbled upon meeting new friends and I am glad I did. I have travelled alot since starting with them and that is truly a passion of mine.
2009 produced some hiccups in my life, we had a restructure at work and I got demoted as a result (which in the long run was a blessing in disguise), my relationship of 3 years ended (but we remain friends) and someone took over as Vancouver's Next Gay Top Model (okay, that wasn't exactly hiccup, just felt like i needed a third). I truly believe these things happen for a reason and if you are a good person, everything will work itself in the end.
So as a result I am before you as a Bachelor. Probably a pretty picky Bachelor, I dont really have a type, I tend to see the good in all, but I am attracted to healthy people, that know what a gym is. I like men who can make me laugh and like to have a good time, but dont need to go out partying every weekend. I prefer guys who will challenge me, I am the type of person that likes to grow and learn and I want someone in my life that will help me with that. I like good dancers, because you know what that means. I prefer extroverted people, someone that loves to travel and the man of my dreams doesnt need drugs period. Above all of these traits, I want someone I can trust and trusts me in return. If you are out there.. let me know!!! :)
I have built a great life for myself out here in Vancouver with a great job and great friends and even an apartment I own. Vancouver is one of the most amazing places in the world, I think no matter where I move or where I go, this will always be my home. My next adventure is leading me to Sydney, Australia to live for a year starting next month. So all you Aussie boys need to hit me up!
