Hey guys, I’m Isaac. Originally from a small town in Ontario on the shores of Georgian Bay, I moved to Montreal in March of 2009. I am what you would call a film geek or rather an aficionado. It’s my passion, my life force. Strangely enough, while I did graduate from film school, I currently am not working in the industry (I currently work for an airline). That, however, does not stop me from picking up a camera or my iPhone and filming the world as I see it. And while I will watch just about anything, my love in film comes mostly in small packages. I prefer indie and foreign films over big Hollywood pictures. Films with a soul and a heartbeat.
In general, I have a passion for just about anything artistic. My love for music is nearly as big as my one for film. Which is slightly bizarre because I’m probably the most unmusically gifted person on this planet. I prefer indie folk rock over Top 40 pop and despise Lady Gaga. A guy who can play guitar and sing will melt my heart any day and if you can teach me, I’ll be yours forever.
In a man, I most definitely have a type, however, I’m not very good at sticking to it. Mostly, I like a guy who is slightly older, taller (I’m 5’11”), bigger than me, and a man with facial and chest hair will make my head turn every time. I guess you can say I’m into bears. I look for someone with intelligence who can maintain a good conversation, someone who makes me laugh, and ultimately, someone who embodies masculinity.
Other facts about me;
- I like sports. I can watch just about anything and while I’m not the most athletically gifted guy, I love playing any sport and can get quite competitive.
- I love to embrace my inner child.
- As much as I like a quiet night with a good bottle of wine, I enjoy going out for a beer with the boys just as much.
- I’m spontaneous, I hate planning life.
- I have a small scar in the shape of an X over my right eye from when I was younger and my sister hit me with a golf club.
- I love potatoes. Breakfast just isn’t breakfast without some home fries.
- I am pierced and tattooed.
- I’m a total dog person. While I don’t currently have one, I prefer a big dog over a small yappy one. One day I will have the chocolate lab I desire.
- I play video games.
- I’m shy yet strangely social.
