I can’t tell you much how it means to me to be a part of this prestigious blog. When I was approached to be a ‘featured bachelor,’ one of the site’s contributors asked me, ‘what I hope to gain from this.’ It took me awhile to answer that question, but when I finally figured out what I am after, I was elated. Simply put, I want everything. People say you can’t have it all… and I say why not? I’m open to anything and would welcome companionship, connections from around the world, and even career advancement opportunities. Above all else, I’m looking for love.

Work takes up most of my time. I’m a writer and producer for a local news TV station but I’m still waiting for my big on-air break. I’m looking to branch more into entertainment / music journalism. Connecticut is where I currently call home, it’s about an hour outside of New York City. I’m not held here by chains, though. If the right opportunity presents itself, I am ready to pack my bags and hit the road.

Music is my main passion. I don’t spend much time watching TV and not big into books. Actually, the last thing I read was my paycheck… I needed a good laugh. Ha.

Although I do my best to stay in shape… mentally and physically… I don’t spend hours swinging weights around. One of my friends got hurt at the gym… a few weeks ago. You know where I never got hurt? Sitting on my couch… eating cookies! Having said that, I do enjoy running.

I don’t really subscribe to any religion. My nieces asked me to take them to church the other night. I haven’t been since I learned priests were touching little boys. Ok. Maybe I was just jealous they weren’t touching me. Kidding. It was great! I drank wine, spent half the night on my knees surrounded by guys in robes!

Hope my brief bio has given you somewhat of an idea as to who I am and what I’m after. So for now I will say, ‘so long.’ Besides I have to save some of my bad jokes and material for when we meet, right?

I’ve worked for the Vancouver Olympics, been a server at Earl’s, tutored my sisters in math and while I can’t wire a house, I’d be game to learn from someone who could! I’m a college graduate (UofS, 2009). I’ve lived in Saskatoon, Calgary, Edmonton and now Vancouver. I’ve had the opportunity to work in Europe and done a lot of travelling around this beautiful globe of ours: across Canada, to the United States, New Zealand, as well as numerous trips to Australia, the Netherlands (I have soft spot for the Dutch!) and other parts of Europe. I love to travel and there are many more interesting places in the world I’d like to discover.

I enjoy keeping active by going to the gym, cycling, getting out for walks and the occasional hike. I love spending time with family and friends, cooking and on occasion – plane spotting (yeah, I’m a bit of commercial aviation geek.) I consider myself a down-to-earth, creative, affectionate, honest, and at times shy individual. I do not smoke or use drugs and neither would my partner.

I’m looking for a guy who not only respects and takes care of himself, but also the world around him; a guy who respects what a relationship is and what it means to be in one. I grew up with a pretty colourful background because of my mixed heritage and the household was abit crazy with my father being a photographer and my mother a designer. I’m one of those people that likes trying to dip their fingers into every jar. I’ve had about a million jobs, applied for things just to see if I’ll get in and I pretty much think I’ll be a “go getter” for the rest of my life. I’m a pretty easy going guy and am just really interested in meeting people from different walks of life, it’s always nice when you meet someone that enlightens you brings something new for you to think about.
Ideally I like to meet people who are motivated and just doing what they love doing, I find it hard to be around people who whinge and complain about everything so I generally try and avoid those that have a negative energy about them. I love a good conversation, a guy with a brain is much more attractive than a guy with just a 6-pack, though brains and brawn together are my kryptonite. I’m masculine but comfortable with my homosexuality, and I like other guys that are the same. That being said, I’m not crazy into sports but I’ll watch games if that’s what’s on. I played Rugby in high-school and have been thinking recently about getting back into it. I’m Into the outdoors and everything to do with water. Would love to meet a dude to go swimming, hiking, or camping with. I hear the nature around the Eastern Rockies is incredible so I’m definitely gonna have to check that out.

I’m really interested in a huge variety of topics from human development to the geography of Mars, so be prepared to get taught some random useless crap haha. Love a man that loves to learn and question things, hanging into the status-quo has never really been one of my strong suits. If you love adventure and spontaneity than definitely hit me up. I’m the kind of guy that can decide one week that he wants to move across the country, then two weeks later I’ll be there! I’ve done it twice now and I’m only 21. Spontaneity is such a good thing with me as well as creativity. Sure, a day laying in bed is great when you have nothing better to do but I’m all about the getting out of the house. I seem very mundane until you realize I’ve been on the front of a horror fiction magazine, I’ve always wanted to go cliff-diving and at one time I was 300 pounds. I consider life a true adventure with so many stories to tell and experiences to be had. Dating has been one of the strangest but funniest things of my life. I’m THAT guy who’s probably ran into every kind of odd situation ever thought of. Life’s sometimes stranger than fiction when you consider a blind date with someone who is double your age who tries to tell you they’re in their 30′s while they make strange motions with their face but the face doesn’t move because they just had botox injected isn’t the weirdest story. I was in a committed relationship once where I considered marrying the person even though things were not perfect. It taught me a lot about myself and what I truly want out of someone else so I stick to my guns with that for the future.

I love to laugh, create, explore and experience. I’m a true lover to the core and until I find someone I am mutually attracted to and will tackle the world with me, alone I stand. That sounds cliche but you heard it from the big lipped horses mouth. I’m optimistic.

I’ve been single for almost a year now, after a 4 year of relationship. I´m ready for something special but trying to live each day without hurrying things up. I don’t have a specific type of guy and I think it´s all about feeling the connection (or the lack of). I like to talk, watch, listen and learn about the other person and If after some time we feel the “click”, we go from there. A big turn-off: smokers.

I survived and graduated from Mount Olive High School in Flanders, NJ after being in the marching band, and on the swim and track teams. My weekends were spent driving my red Pontiac Firebird (my twin brother had the same exact car in white) fist pumping and cruising the strip malls.

I finished up my schooling at Suffolk University in Boston, MA with my Bachelor or Arts degree in Communications & Advertising and spent the next years of my life working in marketing. I worked hard in my cubicle watching YouTube videos and writing my book which would essentially change my life! Outside of work, I became an avid dancer, and added Irish Step and Swing to my repertoire of Dirty. I also became an ordained minister, well online at least, and was the Solemnizer for the marriage of two good friends in Provincetown, MA.

When I was finally “let go” from my job, I decided to pack up my life and follow my dreams of being a stand-up comedian and TV host and drove my talents across the country to the land of opportunity…. Los Angeles!

I think I’m here to entertain, so I chose to be an actor. Then, I graduated in Performing Arts at the Federal University of Natal, and today I work in a Theatre Company, a very good one, five years ago until now. Nowadays, we are nationally known and we travel all around the country specially doing Shakespeare’s plays. It’s amazing! Now we are just starting our international career. My job it’s what I am, everyday I fell in love with this profession and I work hard to get better. It’s a great thing to entertain the others doing what you love, isn’t it?

So let’s move foward.

I live with my short family: mom, sister and my pet, a wonderful funny dog. My family it’s an important part of my education, my development and my growth. I love my girls unreservedly.
I’m a very optimistic guy, who loves to talk, hang out with my friends or even stay at their homes just to have fun.
I consider myself a generous man, its my strongest quality. Foremost, I love to help the others.
I’m very romantic too, the “guy with the unexpected flowers”, the poet, the artist. hehe
Most of the time I’m cool, happy and light.

Two things that I can’t live with its to eat and to sing! I just love to go out for dinner. And I think that I’m good with the singing… =] Music its everything!
I also like movies, books and go to the theatre!

However, my life its a bit caotic, and because of that kind of life, I couldn’t find Mr. Right yet. ’cause I have to work a lot, traveling… Sometimes I’m here, sometimes I’m there and sometimes I’m not. It’s hard to deal with this situation, because I prefer share my life with someone special instead of being single. “All you need is love”, and that’s why I’m here. I’m not looking for Mr. Perfect, I just want to meet a guy who wants to share the little special things of a relationship, and he has to be compreensive with my job. I’m still a young man, who wants to raise himself and who wants to build I life with another one who has the same goals. Several times I’ve been disappointed with people. But I still believe in them.

By the way, I’m an aquarian guy, very calm and patient, diplomatic and polite. So if you like to talk about any subject, here I am.
