Hey guyz! My name’s Matt Ryanz and I am an aspiring songwriter/performer living and working in NYC. I’m originally from the Midwest (Chitown baby!) and moved to Manhattan a couple years ago to study music at NYU. After graduating I began work on my music career, writing songs from my tiny studio apt in Hell’s Kitchen. Living in New York has been a wild ride that I wouldn’t change for anything – I’ve met amazing people and experienced a lot of crazy things. The past year in particular has been incredible for my career: releasing tons of new music, performing live and filming my first ever music video. At the end of the day I’m a total hopeless romantic, so that says a lot about the type of guyz I look for. I don’t really have a “type,” so I try to find someone who just enjoys life as much as I do. I tend to be an outgoing person, whether that’s hitting the town or meeting new people, but at the same time I’m kinda a homebody and love to stay in and watch a great TV show or read a book. My name is Bira, which is a short nickname from the original one gave to me my my father. Even being half german half italian, my father was wondered by the brazilian indians by that time so that’s why I got it. In ‘tupi guarini’ it means ‘rough wood’. I only wonder why… LOL

I was born in Santa Catarina, south of Brazil. Allthough my friends always give me 23-25 years old I’m almost 35 now. I really enjoy looking younger. In fact, I love playing videogames – Mortal Kombat is my all time favorite as long as the Genesis games from the early 90′s – I’m a huge fan of Wonder Woman since I was born as far as I can remember. I’m also a music addict: from Air Supply to Adele, from Abba to Westilfe, Enigma, Annie Lennox, etc. Here in Brazil I’ve been to a lot of concerts such as Seal, Cyndi Lauper, A-Ha, Roxette, Tears For Fears, Simple Minds and my dearest Ricky Martin.
I’m a taekwondo fighter and also played capoeira once and also olympic gymnastics alongside kung fu and saijutsu.

I’m a graduated Architect but I work with publicity, graphic design and webdesign for almost 12 years. I used to live in São Paulo for 3 years but just got back to Santa Catarina. I haven’t decided yet where I’m moving next but will be a nice place for sure maybe even outside Brazil.

Well, I never did drugs. In fact I hate cigarettes so much! And I only drink in certain occasions.
I’m the kind of guy who usually dates. Sometimes I like to go dance and stuff but I never actually meet someone in these places. I rather go out to dinner or the movies ALWAYS.

It’s been quite difficult to find someone nowadays. Meeting and kissing someone is so easy by these days that I think people forgot what really means to date, to have a boyfriend and build something out of this kind of relationship. My tastes have changed along the years so I’m not sure what kind of guy I’m looking for but sure I know what I don’t. Hello reader-friend. My name is Jeff, I am 33 years old, and I was born in Bermuda. When I was growing up the island was dangerously homophobic, so after a year of pleading with my parents I spent my 14th birthday at Ridley College in St. Catharines, Ontario. From there I went to King’s College at the University of Western Ontario to spend 4 years working towards a double concentration Psychology/Philosophy degree. After University I bounced around between careers for a while. I was a Hairstylist (trained at George Brown and then Toni & Guy) for about 5 years then a Fashion Stylist (I styled the cover of Chart Magazine and styled runway shows for several of Canada’s top designers) for around 2 years, before moving to San Francisco for 2 years to study Electronic Music Production. After cementing my love and passion for Electronic Music with a formal education I began to teach myself how to DJ, and that is now my full-time (and FINAL!) occupation. I have played events with such greats as Miss Honey Dijon, Tony Moran, Deko-Ze and Adam K, and spun at some incredible venues and locations (FLY Nightclub and Footwork in Toronto, the Blue Chairs Resort in Puerto Vallarta, and last year I headlined the main stage at the Pride festival in our nation’s Capital, to name a few).

I have had some very intense experiences in my life (I spent a year as a live-in nurse for my mother before she passed) that have taught me the value of the time we are given and the way we interact with our world. I am thrilled to say that those lessons are finally sinking in. I believe in humility (which I will admit, totally flies in the face of the fact that I’m writing this damn bio, but let it be known that writing it makes me uncomfortable! lol), decency, generosity and good-heartedness. I am a consummate rascal and joker who is always looking for fun and adventure. I am addicted to traveling to new and foreign places (I am moving to Bali this January (2012) for several months), and I am a hardcore foodie. I like to do anything out-of-doors, ESPECIALLY if it’s near the ocean. I love soccer, hockey, and a good old-fashioned arm wrestle, but I also love to sew quilted pillows to give to my favorite people.

I will always be open to meeting Mister Right, but I’ve stopped looking under rocks, scrolling through online profiles, and scanning gay dance floors for him. I believe he (or maybe even they) are out there. I now believe that we will find each other when we are both living our lives the best way we know how, with the goal to be the best and most happy people we can be. The man I eventually find will be confident, mature, thoughtful, and romantic. He will be intelligent but will love to do stupid things every once in a while. He will have an open mind and a big heart.

But above all: we will laugh often, we will love to talk to each other, and our silences will be golden.

Life is short, choose who you spend your time with carefully.

Hey my name’s Fred(erick). I am born and raised in Toronto, Canada and am 21 years young. Currently attending York University as a full-time student as well as in the Children Studies program. I think it’s important to note that I am half Chinese and half Italian (I like to call this Chitalianese) and makes up who I am as an individual. I have only been in one long term relationship ever since comming out and as much of a disaster as it went I have learned and grown from it. I would like to think that I am a vibrant individual having no problems meeting new people being a social butterfly that I am.

In terms of what I am into, generally I am really just looking for a man that makes me feel comfortable and safe at all times. This individual must possess a certain quality and energy that I will know is what I’m looking for when I’m around that person. I am a empathetic kind of person, I like to treat people as I like to be treated and have no problems putting people in their place if need be (some call this blunt). This is due to my experiences related the job I have worked in a compassion clinic, helping people with all kinds of illnesses. This has opened up my perspective of life, how the people I help can still smile when they have certain things going on in their life. These people have made me grow as an individual in such a way that I am able to look at people as people, regardless of race, sex, gender, etc… . Generally in the looks department, it’s all about the comfort that you have within yourself that will attract me to you. I like guys older and handsome…

Hello there! Name’s Carlos. I was born in Venezuela but my folks are originally from Portugal. I moved to Miami 5 years ago from NYC where I lived for fifteen years. Even though I love the beach and the hot weather I still miss NYC and eventually would love to relocate to the Big Apple again. Professionally, I have a degree in Business but, for the past ten years I have been working in the non-profit sector and for Community Based Organizations. Currently I work as a Health Educator for an Organization that promotes good health and safer sex among gay men living in Broward County. Personally I find my job to be extremely rewarding. It feels great to be able to help or change people’s lives even when the salary is not the best one. Like everyone else I have my own baggage of relationships. Most of them were long and some were very short, some I already forgot. But, most important is that I have learned so many things from each one of them. I like spontaneity, adventure and good conversation and above all else, humor. I am an incredibly sarcastic person and a big sucker for a nice smile.

When it comes to men… It mainly starts and ends with chemistry and personality for me. The guys I’m into don’t fall into a precise box except that they tend to be on the alternative side and make me laugh. As long as I can feel attracted to you and you’re not a jerk, I think we’ll get along just fine. Most important quality I look for in a guy is humility, and then confidence and a great sense of humor follows.

I’m a native Vancouverite living in Montreal, who has had stops in Calgary, Whitehorse, Quebec City, Ecuador and Bolivia along the way. An outspoken and highly vocal personality, I have been an online writer for almost three years now, contributing to online publications like Examiner.com, Digital Journal and 2B Mag while climbing my way up to becoming the Contributing Editor at The Gaily. I recently launched my first website, JeromieWilliams.com so that I can collect all my work in one place, and have an active and living online CV to shop around. That’s right, this boy has got some hustle.

By trade I am a powerhouse of creativity and imagination in my on-hold career as a video game designer and director, having worked on several dance games for the Wii, Kinect and PS3 as well as creating some pretty awesome PC games. I’m looking for the perfect step back into that career, but for now I am following my passion with writing.

Animal advocacy is a way of life that is extremely important to me and my commitment to helping those without a voice which is very strong which is why I hold great pride in my National Animal Action column on Examiner.com that has been read by over 300,000 viewers in 2011 alone. My close partnership with the Pet Pardons organization on Facebook has allowed me to reach further than I ever thought possible, and in October of 2011 I was named as the Director of Operation for Pet Pardons Canada where I now working to help save animals from shelters all across North America.

In my free time, I enjoy volunteering at numerous non-profit organizations in between my healthy obsession for all things Rachel Maddow and brewing new and interesting flavours of kombucha in my kitchen. I am a self taught chef, and I am always either cooking something up in the kitchen of filling the cupboards with canned sauces, jams, peppers or pickles which gets a lot of jokes thrown my way from people with a mouthful of what’s being dished up.

I’m kooky, I’m wild, I’m spontaneous and energized, and although the ride can be quite bumpy on this trip, there is never a dull moment. Guaranteed.

Upon closer inspection of my hopes and desires in a relationship, I have come to realize that I am totally and completely a hopeless romantic. lol and I will wear that badge proudly, cause it seems like there are very few guys who are any more. I’m one of those people who wants the movie romance, where you know from the minute you meet someone that you are destined to fall in love. My heart swoons at a guy who will hold my hand while driving in this car. Or a man who would kiss me good bye in public. Or even just say that he was thinking of me during the day. And a man who knows how to hug the right way gets my heart every time, someone who comes up from behind while you are doing something and wraps his arms around you and rests his chin on your shoulder and you can just lean back and feel completely safe in his arms. Lol I guess “Prince Charming” fits my category. But I also want to be the one to say romantic things that make him happy, to leave a kiss on his lips that lingers and makes him want another one, and be his cuddle buddy any time we are watching a movie or tv. I don’t know how to explain it any better then this. I guess iIam just a 100% hopeless romantic. and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I am just a guy who is looking for himself, and I think I am on the right track! I am kind of laid back but at the same time I like to be goofy and have fun. And I am a midwest guy, born and raised. So things like holding a door for a lady or saying thank you and helping people when they need it just come second nature to me. One day, I hope to have a family, but thats a ways in the making. I love to meet new people, and I am always open to new friends. Cause you never know how someone is going to effect your life until you give them a chance. ^_^

Photography is pretty much my life. My mind is constantly in “picture take mode” which means everywhere I go, I see how I can turn things into a photograph. I’ve started college for photography, and I am totally emersed in my art form and am loving it. My plan is to eventually do fashion photography in New York City, which is going to take a lot of work, but I am up for it. My name is Mark Rosenberg and I currently live in New York City. During the day I work for a company that does marketing and promotions for theatre but my real passion is my writing work. In February of 2010, my first book “Blackouts and Breakdowns” was released and since then I have been featured in NEXT Magazine, Playbill, USA Today and The Village Voice amongst others. Currently, I am planning a 40 city book tour that begins this coming January. I will be traveling from Seattle to San Diego, Austin to Chicago, Boston to Atlanta – you name it and I will pretty much be there within the three months I will be traveling on the road. This entire book tour is taking place in anticipation of the release of my second book “Eating My Feelings” which comes out April 19, 2012, when I return to New York. I absolutely love what I do and I am very much looking forward to the next few months of my life, which will be nothing if not chaotic but also very rewarding and quite possibly the craziest thing I’ve ever done career wise.

It’s so funny to me when people ask me what I am looking for in a mate because every guy I have ever dated has always been so drastically different from the guy before. I try to look past what’s on the outside and look at what is on the inside. I love a guy with a great sense of humor, an outgoing personality and a quick wit. Someone who can roll with the punches and make even the worst of situations fun. I’m just looking for someone cool to share my life with. You’d think by reading MY BLOG I was asking for a Jesus Christ reincarnate but I’m simply just looking for someone who’s not a dick. I am a 31 year old French guy (born in Bordeaux), who moved to Toronto about 4 years ago for love. After 7 years together, things did not work out and I have rediscovered the single life again. It was fun for a while but I believe that life is better when you have someone special to share it with.
I am a true romantic, passionate and honest guy and so should you. In my opinion, Trust and Respect are the two most beautiful qualities someone has to offer to someone else.

I love to entertain, maybe due to my background. I was trained as a chef, and spent 10 years of my life working in the Luxury Hotel Management field (MBA from Cornell). It also allowed me to travel a lot and live in different countries but I consider Toronto home.
I am a city boy (live and work in Yorkville area) but I was also raised in the French country side, so I like to play in the wild sometimes… lol.
I am spending my free time travelling, cooking, going to see movies, plays, opera, clubbing, socializing… I like to keep myself busy at all times… I am very creative and I love to experience new things… I like to live life to its fullest and take every day as it was my last. I don’t believe in regrets…
